Product Description:
Beer Stabilizing Silica Gel is a food-grade, amorphous microporous silica adsorbent specially developed for beer stabilization. With an optimized pore size distribution of 8–16 nm and a high specific surface area, it selectively adsorbs haze-forming proteins while preserving desirable beer components.
The adsorbed proteins are easily removed during filtration, effectively preventing chill haze, improving beer clarity and extending shelf stability without affecting the flavor, aroma or foam quality.
Composed primarily of silicon dioxide (SiO₂), the product is non-toxic, odorless, chemically inert and insoluble in water and common organic solvents (except hydrofluoric acid and strong alkali solutions), making it fully compatible with modern brewing processes.
